Mr. Yagoda is committed to a high quality civil litigation and business practice and devotes a significant part of his practice to general counsel services, business litigation, family law, commercial and residential landlord-tenant matters, corporate law, and commercial / residential real estate transactions.
Mr. Yagoda attended Southern New Hampshire University (f/k/a New Hampshire College) where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) in 1989. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Yagoda gained considerable business experience as a computer programmer analyst, Series 7 licensed stockbroker, and mortgage banker.
In 1996, Mr. Yagoda earned his Juris Doctorate degree from St. Thomas University School of Law where he served as the Managing Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review. Mr. Yagoda was selected to participate in the St. Thomas Law School Appellate Litigation Clinic, served as an Intern with the National Association of Securities Dealers, and served as a Judicial Intern with the Honorable David L. Levy formerly of the Third District Court of Appeal of Florida. Mr. Yagoda authored “Taking a New Look at an Old Takings Issue” published in 1995.
Mr. Yagoda is a member of the Florida Bar and licensed to practice in all Florida state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Yagoda formerly served as President and Vice President, respectively, of his condominium association’s Board of Directors, as Chairperson of its Building & Service Contracts Committee, and presently serves as an appointed member of the City of Coral Gables' School and Community Relations Committee.
Mr. Yagoda resides in Coral Gables, FL with his two children and is an avid ice hockey player and coach.
